The Seminar brings together four top industry experts to share information to assist dairy and livestock operators in both deciding if they wish to pursue an AMMP grant and some of the options which may be funded by the grant.  This is an independent Seminar funded by the ticket sales and seminar sponsors.  The goal is to provide valuable information to participants whether they plan to apply for a grant or not. The Technical Assistance workshop will walk through the various parts of the application and demonstrate how to access the various online resources and the how to submit the application through the online Financial Assistance Application Submittal Tool (FAAST) system and how to complete the Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Calculator Tool for the California Department of Food and Agriculture Alternative Manure Management Program: Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund Fiscal Year 2016-17. Technical Assistance workshops providing assistance for dairy and livestock operators participating in the Alternative Manure Management Program (AMMP) has been made possible by a grant from the CDFA and the Strategic Growth Council. These technical assistance workshops provide hands-on application assistance supporting the success of AMMP and the reduction of methane emissions from dairy and livestock operations. This two hour workshop is delivered at four different times:
